At the heart of the columbarium lies its noble purpose: to provide a sanctuary for the ashes of the departed. Within its walls, each niche becomes a sanctum, a tranquil resting place for the urns that hold the earthly remains of those who have transitioned from this world. Crafted from enduring materials such as marble, granite, or metal, these niches stand as testament to the enduring bond between the living and the departed.

Graveside Services

Greenwood Cemetery provides a serene and dignified setting for families to honor the memory of their loved ones. We offer graveside services for urn burials, as well as services alongside the columbarium niche for urn placement. Greenwood communicates with families to provide the setup of chairs, turf around the urn burial site when needed, placement of florals, as well as table setup upon request. Greenwood partners with local funeral homes that perform official funeral services. While graveside service is most popular because of the natural lush surroundings; sometimes due to weather changes, we can also perform setup in the chapel that provides an intimate space where family and friends can gather to pay tribute to the life and legacy of their loved ones.

Columbaria offer a way for families and loved ones to memorialize their deceased loved ones, as well as a practical way to store and display the ashes.

Our cemetery goes above and beyond to help families make funeral arrangements including providing a small chapel for private funeral arrangements.

INFORMATION

1Initial Consultation
Call for more detailed information. If you would like to meet with us free to make an appointment to meet with the cemetery manager or one of the staff members to gather additional information. We are here to answer all your questions.
2Pre-Need
We have several options for those who wish to pre-plan a resting place for cremated remains. We have several available In-ground Urn burial spots to choose from. We also have available spacious niche compartments in our columbarium that can hold two Urns comfortably. We also have a niche wall that can hold one small-medium size Urn.
3Schedule the Service
After securing a date for burial or niche graveside service we process the State of California required documentation.
4Conduct the Service
We stay in close communication with the family throughout the process. We also stay in communicate with other involved parties to ensure that the service proceeds smoothly and meets the wishes of the decadent and their family. Should the family have last minutes changes the day of service we do our very best to meet those changes. We are right there along side the family to ensure changes are seamlessly met.
5Post-Service Care
We complete any documentation necessary to bring closure to the transaction. We provide a Deed for Urn burials, it is mailed to the family member specified on the service order agreement.

Throughout the entire process, communication between the cemetery staff, the family, and any other involved parties is crucial to ensure that the service proceeds smoothly and meets the wishes of the deceased and their loved ones.
